Deep in a Full Tilt MTT...JJ to a min-raise from UTG...

lakeoffire I was playing the FT $26 tournament today and would like some insight on how I played this hand. Sorry about the format. 1000 entrants and about 50 players left.

Blinds 600/1200

Hero 18880 2nd pos holding JJ
Villain 14000 UTG

Villain min-raises to 2400. Hero re-raises to 6800.
Villain pushes. Hero folds.

I thought aces with the min-raise (of course) and am certain it was a good fold. I guess my re-raise after the min-raise bothers me, though. Is a better line to have smooth called and got away from the hand when over-cards came on the flop? Comments welcome. LoF

I think villain's got a tight range there...AA, KK & AA. I'm folding the 'hooks there and moving on.

I definitely wouldn't fold JJ there. What was the villain's image...had he raised UTG at all previously, was he likely to cbet? A raise is fine if he's been raising a bunch. Normally I would call and see what he does on the flop.
