I am temped to make the drive from lovely L.A. up for the Championship event, but one question I have is, is it a 2 day event like I read in a previous trip report? Anyways, really just started reading the site and am enjoying it so far.

The final event will be a one day event. We considered making it two days, but as a one day event, I'm thinking it will run about 9 hours which seems reasonable. If you need to get a hotel to sleep off the after party, I'm sure we could help you out. Let me know if you come up!
