PokerRoom FT...weak flush...out of position...

FT of $50 PokerRoom MTT. 190 entrants...down to 10. Final table just sat. I'm about 3rd in chips with 31k. Blinds are 800/1600, no anteÃ¢â¬Â¦going up to 1000/2000 in < 2 minutes.

I have Ts7s in the BB. Two limpers (EP and MP) to me. I check. Pot is 5.6k.

Flop is Ks 9s 6s.

I obviously like this flop and would typically bet the flop, but IÃ¢â¬â¢m hoping someone was trying to trap or caught part of it and will take a stab at it. I check. EP checks. MP bets 5k. I bump it another 20k. Pot is now 31k. EP (has me covered by 5k) pushes 35k at 30k-ish pot. MP folds. I call expecting to see a better flush, hoping for something less.

MP turns over a set of 9s and fills up with the 6d at the river and I'm out.

I donÃ¢â¬â¢t have a problem with the action or the result (I needed a new monitor anyway :P ) but would love some feedback on the following.

1) how do you play that weak flush oop? As it was, I got the action I wanted, but whatÃ¢â¬â¢s standardÃ¢â¬Â¦check it or bet it with two people behind?
2) I thought the limping with 99 in EP was odd; at 15BBs, IÃ¢â¬â¢d usually raise the 99; whatÃ¢â¬â¢s standard?
3) If it had been me, IÃ¢â¬â¢d probably have bet the set of 9s and called my reraise, thinking Ã¢â¬ÅUghÃ¢â¬Â¦made flushÃ¢â¬Â but then talk myself into his range including As, K6 or set of 6s and IÃ¢â¬â¢m 35/65 to the flush and more often than not get shown a flush and kick myself when I bust out; at 15x the BB do you look at someone who basically says, Ã¢â¬ÅI know someone bet the pot and youÃ¢â¬â¢re still to act but I LOVE THIS BOARDÃ¢â¬Â and say Ã¢â¬ÅScrew it, I have a set and I may not see a better spot and if I win I'm in great shapeÃ¢â¬Â and take the chance that youÃ¢â¬â¢re in all likelihood a 35/65 dog with 1:1 pot odds?

1) I could go either way on that flop: either bet it or go for check-raise. The problem with betting it is that you either bet too strong and chase everyone away or you give the guys with the high flush cards the odds to call you and draw out. The check-raise seems like a good option.

2) The guy with 99 from EP was probably hoping someone behind him would be betting PF so he could raise. Not a bad move.

3) If I flopped a set with that board I would definitely bet it, but he was again going for the check-raise there. I guess he just loves to play his strong hands slow -- be sure to take notes on him. Once the pot was bet and then you showed strength it was a difficult move for him. I guess the odds are strong that you guys were both on draws (it looks like you have the A flush card) so the bet by him is not bad. If he knew you had the flush he probably folds but of course he still had outs and he hit them!
