About our Sit-n-Go Blind Structure Pages

We have compiled the blind structures for the Sit-n-gos (a.k.a. SnGs) on many leading online poker sites. Our process for pulling this information together was pretty straightforward. First, we reviewed information available on the various sites. Some sites, like PokerStars and Absolute, provide a blind structure link directly from the table or tournament lobby. Others, like Ultimate Bet and PartyPoker, post it on their client or website. We then observed a number of the SnGs of each type and noted the actual blind structure in use and corrected any inaccuracies (it's amazing how many sites list the wrong structure), how many players were left at each level and the average run time for the tournament. We then made an estimate of the approximate hands per hour dealt (typically 70/hours at a full table and 90-100/hour at a short-handed table). From that, we estimated the number of premium hands (AA-JJ, AK, about 3% of all hands) that you would likely see in the course of the tournament to get a sense of how aggressive you need to play. We then put the info in a consistent format and highlighted the "bubble" period in red - e.g., the period just before you could expect to reach the money.

From time to time, sites change their structures and, of course, your experience may vary from what we observed. At TwoRags.com we are committed to providing accurate information to the poker community. If you see entries or information that you believe to be in error, please email us at comments@tworags.com. In addition, if you would like to help compile similar content on Sit-n-go blind structures not currently listed on the site, please email us and we'll furnish you with details on how you can help.
