 Overview

The California Grand is an 14 table, non-smoking room located about 10-15 miles northeast of Berkeley in the SF Bay area of California.  The room is located in the historic Woodford Hotel that was once part of the Pony Express.

The room offers limit, no limit and Omaha (see above for details).  Wait times for limit games are usually <30; no limit and Omaha waits can be an hour or more.  New player do not need to post.

The room runs a $50 buyin NL tournament every Sunday at 10:30a.  Seating is limited to 5 tables; sign-ups open at 8:30a.

There are a number of jackpots and free breakfast/lunch fare for players logging more than two hours of play.  The room also offers regular chip promotions, for example $50 of chips for $20 for new players.
