The Wynn has a 26-table non-smoking poker room which is elegant and modern with decor and details as nice as we've seen. The room itself isn't huge but feels spacious with plenty of room between the tables.

The Wynn offers the games listed above as well as higher limit hold 'em and Omaha, some kill games and mixed games on occasion. We found the $2/5 NL game populated by local "pros" and playing tougher than the games elsewhere in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The proximity and ease of parking makes the room popular with local players.
Tournaments are run at 12 noon weekdays; sit n gos run when 10 players are seated. See the items of interest above for details.
All the tables have automatic shufflers and the wait-lists are posted on plasma screens in the room and channel 29 of your hotel room TV. In addition, the tables and chairs are new and comfortable.
The staff is accommodating and knowledgeable and goes out of their way to make the players, especially the regulars and high-limit players, feel comfortable. The dealers are professional and efficient; in 5 hours of play, we didn't see a misdeal. The tables are well attended by attractive waitresses and high quality food can be ordered at the tables.
With a "red card", players can accrue $1/hour of comps.
Final note: The Wynn hotel is the best on the strip; it's elegant with incredible attention to detail. The standard room is smaller than the suites -- only rooms of Las Vegas but larger than most standard rooms on the Strip. The bathroom and bathtub are enormous; your wife or girlfriend will love it. The spa is one of the nicest anywhere; it's an excellent place to burn off the stress of that set over set beat.
