My maxim is as follows:

We all suck at poker.

Ok, maybe not all, but almost all, even good winning players with access to all the poker information now available, are no where near maximum potential. If we continue to learn and get better, maybe one day we won't suck so bad.

That pretty much holds for life. With the exception of Tiger Woods, however much a bad-ass you are, there's someone somewhere who can kick your ass. Avoid sitting at the table with him. Profit.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme. Make your money from those lower on the pyramid, pay a percentage to those higher on the pyramid (better players). Now all I need to do is get up from the bottom on the pyramid
