I think starting a roll with $50 if you're a winning player is basically throwing money away as you get screwed by spending your time playing lower when you could be winning playing higher. It sounds like ur already breaking the rules by using your own money to fund some bigger buy ins. My suggestion is forget bankrolls if you can replace the money fairly easily and just play what mtts you think you have an edge in. Once you get to a point where your roll is significant enough that you can't replace it from work money then practice bank roll management. Believe me you'll be kicking yourself when you're grinding $1 mtts for 6 months finally hit a decent score, move up and realize that you could've been crushing bigger buy in mtts sooner thus making more money and improving faster.
