April 29th, Milwaukee: I wake up and look at the clock; it reads 3pm. Sounds about right. The apartment is empty as it seems both my friends are at work. I take a shower then sort through my bag for a shirt that isn’t completely wrinkled from
having been folded up in my suitcase for so long. I settle for a black one that I assume is too dark to see the wrinkles on without thorough inspection.
I walk over to a local ‘Subway’ for breakfast and get a sandwich. There are free copies of ‘The Onion’ near the entry. I grab one and spend my meal trying not to laugh too hard in the middle of the restaurant. I exit the shop and walk over to ...
