Default Early findings

Nice variety of games on their opening night:
LHE at 3/6 and 4/8 (total of 5 tables)
NLHE at 1/2 (1) and 2/5 (3)
limit Omaha 8 at 5/10 (1)
and Sunday they had 7 Card Stud spread 1-5

This casino has not had a Poker room in about 8 years, and some of the regular customers will sometimes sit down to give it a try, especially at the limit games. They just pour a rack (or two) on to the table and then move on. This happened once while I was playing Stud and twice while playing the 1/2 NL game.

The room is similar in size to the Horseshoe in Bossier City, but so far has only 9 tables. It will be interesting to see how busy they are during the week, but so far the weekend action looks pretty strong. There were some snags on opening night, as half their staff are Poker room rookies. The operation should tighten up soon and I think it will shape up to be a top flight room.

I'll post an update after my next visit later this week.
