I just moved to LV April 07. I came here for a job but my goal is to play 25-30 hrs a week of poker. Prior to coming here, i played mainly tournies (home games) with buy-ins ranging from $20-$200. I love tournies and this is probably my best game. Before moving to LV, I played in the Caesars noon tourney and final tabled twice. I final tabled Sahara once and came close to final tabling the V twice.

While I'd love to continue playing tournies, the fields here are so large and there s so much variance that I know I will have to have a cash game to fall back on.

This is why I started playing small stakes LHE. Without withdrawing several thousand to play mid limits, I'm starting SMALL -- as in 3/6, 4/8. My goal is to build a bankroll, stay disciplined, and work my way up to 6/12, 8/16 and eventually on to middle limits.

I will still continue to play tournies on the side but hopefully i'll be able to expand my game. Limit is a different beast as I have learned in the 1st 5 weeks of my stay in Vegas. If anyone else is in a similar boat, please contact me as I am always looking for poker confidants.

Other than poker, I like eating out, watching sports, tv/movies, going to bars, bowling, coffee shops, gambling of course, and hanging out.
