As of Spring 2008, Horizon has the only Poker room in Vicksburg. When competition forces them to, I think they'll tighten up.

Room is scheduled to be relocated and greatly improved in Spring of 2008 in association with the buyout by Nevada Gold.

Some dealers tend to be overly familiar with customers and sometimes inattentive to the details of the hand.

Hot dogs, chips, pretzels, cookies and soft drinks in room. Frequent visits by cocktail waitresses, but spotty after 2am.

| Wait Time/Overall Service |

Wait time is tolerable, and being able to call ahead helps. The biggest problem is a circular one, without games, there are no players and without players there are no games. The NL game seems to exist only on weekend nights or on tourney nights. Otherwise, all that goes is a 3/6 limit game.

Hourly comp rate for players is a little over a dollar an hour and can be used for meals or rooms. There are some nice daily promos, and small weekly tournaments.
