Well, after a bit of drinking down in ocean city I headed to vegas wed afternoon. Had a nice direct flight got here got to jon's then passed out for the night. Woke up went to a BBQ at the gobbo castle pretty sick time then headed to rio for registering for first event. New set up looks a lot cleaner should be a lot less problems with long lines and table congestion. I'm really feeling good going into this long series. Going to be the perfect grind.
I think the field sizes are going to be above most people expectation. I hope I find a way to play the 1500 as well but if I make day2 of the 10k I may have to skip it and def not going to miss sundays.A lot solid players are skipping this event and I'm quite surprised just means it's going to be that much softer. Expect a few more updates coming as I'll have things to write about finally. Going to add on to my 27th record hopefully starting with this event.

Well today started out pretty badly was a huge ftops even with a 300r so I was scrambling around trying to get horses enough money. I really like this event and structure allow good players to gobble up all the EV. It's funny I convinced like 5 people to play it saying how they are dumb not to its a really soft tourney but always gets a really tough ft. FTP also had a 100r turbo warmup which I knew would be a blast. I got a good stack in that early ran into some rough hands/stretches and busted around the bubble. Luckily one of my wafflecrushers had a nice stack and continued to dominate. Adam/probbluffingyou on ftp was who I roomed with at TS along with little ras I think very highly of his game even though he's not had a huge score yet.

Anyways he got gayed as he always does on the ft bubble with AA=AJo AIPF and AJ losing to A4 AIPF to bubble him. It's sad how bad our horses run that sometimes they think they aren't as good as they are. Needless to say I was frustrated at another bad backing day. I found myself down to 4 tourneys really early in the night that was jam packed with good value tourneys. I lost a big flip on the bubble of the 300, then lost another big flip itm in the 50/50 on stars. So that left me with the ftop nightly 150 and the ftops both which I ahd good stacks in. I ended up fluxutating a lot in both tourneys. Ended up fting the 150 won a flip then lost AQ to AA for a lot of chips to get 7th for like 3k was bummed but at the time was still in ftops with 50 people left wiht a nice first place of 240kish. I had a top 10 stack most of the way lots of good players were left as expected. Luckily I had the easiest table of the remaining ones at each time. I went quite card dead once we got down to 2 tables and made my way to ft 5/6. Which featured tmay a redic solid grinder who I know very well and we both have lots of respect for each others play. neonpills whose a redic aggro player who hates to fold but can make you hate life when card dead like I was.

Other 3 were this laggy euro who was to my left for first 4 hours of tourney and played well and 2 other lags. So needless to say with my short stack I went into a shell. I had to 3bet 33% of my stack pre with 88 vs the laggiest player who was CL and in the CO and c/fold the KQJ flop it was really gross I was shoving almost any flop. A few orbits later neonpills opens to like 2.7bb and I shove A10o for 14 he calls with KQs and turns a Q gg me 6th for like 38k. Def a sick night easily a top 5 for me but I'm quite disapointed in the result at least I can't complain that I misplayed any hands.

Well, I apoligize for the few of you who keep checking back for updates I never felt like I had much good to write about. Had a really bad sickness in San Remo a great Amsterdam trip, then a disappointing day2 after a massive climb of chip stack on day1. I basically been resting up since my 2nd amsterdam trip. I ended up going to AC for their 2k event last weekend but I got shutout in redic gay fashion. The staff there really messed up in how they ran the registration and alternate list for that tourney was a shame looked like a good field to play.

On the poker side of things haven't had much to write about thayer's been kicking my ass in our 5 figure prop bet I was down a whopping 16-10 because I went nearly 5 weeks without a 10k score that wasn't a wsop seat. Earlier this week I played a pot 4 handed for about 80% of the chips in play in a decent 100r ended up losing and getting 4th a little while later which was on the 5figure score bubble. Later that same night I also took down the fulltilt 50/50 for 9555 so again just short. Still a really solid +20k day but I'm always disappointed a bit because theres more money to win and probably a tourney I made a mistake with.

Anyways I went for a few days with doylestown to do some coaching sessions I am quite impressed with his current knowledge and his willpower to improve. I'm doing quite different style coaching with him which is a lot more natural to me then what I used to do on AIM. As is it now I'm prob going to add 1 student every month or two and go through the same stuff I'm doing with him hopefully I can find someone as motivated and with the right about of time to devote to learning and crushing the beast that is online poker.

After that I headed to my fav casino Turningstone. Great staff good tourneys and solid structures unfortunately the field sizes were vastly smaller then I was expecting, but it was nice to see the old staff I used to be friendly with before I got in to online seriously. Been coming here for over 5 years now every so often and each trip improves in quality. I ended up rooming with Aspoker8 and geoffras thayer's younger but cooler little brother. We had a good time I got them addicted to chinese poker and we had a good time even though in all the live events i never even doubled up my starting stack. Still I was happy with my play in the 3 events I played and wouldnt change many hands. I ended up taking sat night off from tourneys and napping which was nice. I wokeup well rested after a nap after my nap and began with the stars Sunday warmup.

We had to change rooms first so I had to miss first 10min of it and once we got situated it was all go. I doubled pretty early then lost my double back to get under starting stack I grinded for a long time never getting anything going. I had under 20bbs for most of the 2nd-3rd hour. It wasn't until the 4th hour and the 2500/5k blinds I started going. I went from 42k in the SB to nearly 325k in less then 10 hands with just 2 showdowns. Thanks victorramdin for the chips. After that I coasted my comfortable stack for most of the way and only got under avg stack once we were down to 11 handed. I made a marginal call with 88 and was shown 10s for CL at the time of the ft bubble. I was down and luckily we had a break I got relaxed and doubled first hand back from break with A10s vs 66 I ran good after that for a while until at the ft 8 handed this setup set my path to gold.

I raise AA utg to 288,888 at 70k/130k blinds after I raised prev hand and stole blinds BB defends and leads a 1032r flop for like 380,000. I raised him to 999,999 and he shoved really quickly for nearly 4million effective. At the time I was 2nd in chips and he was the CL I called quickly and he showed JJ and I held for easily the biggest pot by almost 2x all tounrney. From there I just stole blinds knocked out a shorty or two with the best hand. I got 3 handed we talked chop and I denied it because I was sure I had the skill edge and knowledge to outplay both my oppenants. I got unlucky when the button raised with 30bbs and I 3bet to 10bbs with A10o he shoved quickly and I was getting the right price vs his range so I call and he has AKs and holds vs me for a 12mil pot. For first time since the AA hand I was now not CL and any hand I could bust and lose this huge finaltable. Luckily a few hands later I got the guy covered again and he raised the button with 4mil at 100k/200k and I shoved 44 he called me quickly with Ac10x and the flop was 9 high 3 clubs with no 4 on board I didn't have 4c either. Somehow the board bricked out and now I was hu with almost even stacks at 14mil to 15mil. After a few hands we discussed a chop which the chat was quite hilarious to. My oppenant was quite aggro PF with intiative but redic tight and passive out of position so I was confident I could grind him down but was still willing to discuss a deal. We were 15mil deep at 100/200k blinds hu was over in less then 6 hands I raped him really hard and he just spewed off his stack to me it was great. So ship the 102k score first 6fig yet. I also happened to win another WSOP seat on ftp during this time so it was a great night obv my best by about 40k. Expect some more frequent updates as I may have better news to post about soon since I'm going to win weekly TLB and get atop yearly once and forall.
