This is the absolute best place to play in LA. It's close to the 405 and the coast and has a great feel to it. I play mostly the 2/5 NL game where the buyin is from $100-300 max. There are usually 4-6 tables spread in this limit and they sometimes run a $5/10 NL game with a $600 max. They also have some great weekly tournaments starting at 7pm each night with buyins in the $100-150 range. Some days they have rebuys others no rebuys.
There are plenty of regulars here who thing they really know how to play poker, but I haven't found the competition to be especially tough. I've played both solid TAG poker and LAG poker and both styles have worked very well for me.

Not too big, but also it's not a small casino by any means. They have a new tournament room that is very nice and modern. It should be it just opened! They use card machines to shuffle on all cash tables.

No issues with the dealers. For the most part they seem fine.

No big problems here, although it did take quite a while last Tuesday to get a drink order in. I gues sthe service could be a bit better. I do love the food here. They have a big menu with lots of ethnic food choices to serve all of their various customer tastes and the prices are reasonable.

I rarely wait longer than 20 minutes for a table to open.

They have a good comp card program. It's easy to earn points towards food and gifts at their shop. The manager comes around regularly and to swipe your comp card.
