Finally starting to get it.

After lots of study, sweating, posting and grinding I feel like I'm finally starting to get it:
The sample is small, but yet big enough to give me confidence that I'm starting to make progress.
I really started focusing on my NSD winnings, which I felt were a big leak for me. Before (in the 70k hands or so that proceeded this 20k) I experienced larger variance because the way that I made $$$ was all through show down winnings. This meant that I was more willing to stack off with less than premium hands in an attempt to maximise my winnings.
Now, I'm picking up lots from small pots, well timed bluffs and semi-bluffs, and this had had the knock on effect that I now only stack off with much stronger hands, and therefore less variance, less stress, more $$$, more :-).
My BR is looking strong and I'm in line for a $650 bonus once I collect another 1k-ish fpps.
I've also learned the importance of discipline in relation to the growth of my bankroll. It should be larger than it currently is, though I lost money on donkaments here and there and also little bits of PLO for fun.
So I've only played FR NLHE for the last while and I'll continue to do this until about 2k. Then I'm making the move to NL50 again. I figure with 2k I'll be very well rolled and will be able to play my best game.
I also reached Supernova this month, so the rakeback bonuses will help me very much.
Short term Goals:
[ ] Make the move to NL50 once BR reaches 2k (hopefully within next 2 weeks)
[ ] Play 6 tables NL50 and crush
[ ] Keep red line close to zero
Long term goals:
[ ] Shots at NL100 once BR is close to 4k (2/3 months???)
[ ] Use all FPPs for Rake back bonuses (no donkaments!)
Currently my big future goal is to become a reg at NL100 and use the money as an excellent source of side income.
I would LOVE to be able to use this as a way to travel to other countries, where I could work as a guitar teacher and keep poker as a great help in my overall income.
So thats the story to this point. I feel like the last few weeks have been a major breakthrough.
I guess, only time will tell!!
