Default Las Vegas Tourney #9 and #10: Double Dip

Over to the Rio for another attempt at a $1500 NLHE my opening table is not as tough as the last one, with some soft spots:

Seat 1: Fairly loose young Dutch guy
Seat 2: Very loose youngish African-American guy ...

Hey mate. Curious what you look like? Thinking specifically about the young Dutch guy, 4-betting you with QQ in the first tourney. Maybe he was just generally spewy or maybe he viewed you as pretty loose, capable of making a light 3-bet. What kind of image do u think you project? Cheers.

I actually mis-typed the seat number. It was Seat 10 that made the 4-bet play with QQ not Seat 1. My image is usually a little funky, but not overly so. I'm 42, but look/dress younger. That day I had my two-tone purple-striped velvet Paul Smith jacket on, which is certainly kinga groovy looking (I call it my Austin Powers jacket). As well as my physical image, I had splashed around in quite a lot of pots early on, which may also explain the lack of respect for my 3-bet.

Other days I might look more conservative when I wear my plain blue suit jacket or my beige jacket and I also might appear to be playing a lot tighter sometimes due to lack of decent starting hands, but I feel that I rarely project a too conservative/tight image, but more of an experienced player that mixes-up things a little (but not laggy).

Seat 10 did look conservative, which is why I respected his 4-bet at the time. After observing him for a while thereafter, however, he was certainly playing looser than his image suggested.
