Tonight I was playing the 3.30 rebuy on Pokerstars. During the first hour, I played really well and only made the initial rebuy. I chipped up to around 14k during the first break. I get the add on and am at 16k going into the second hour. Then it starts, I go card dead. I play maybe 1 or 2 hands the entire second hour, neither of which I won a pot. Then the third hour begins, but with no new luck. It's getting close to the money by now, and I'm just concentrating on cashing. It gets to the 500/1k level and I'm sitting on 5bb's and 200 left til the money, so I need chips. I finally get an 88, push all in and only take down the blinds. Next hand I'm dealt AKo. I push all in again, this time called by an AT. Flop comes 8 3 2 rainbow, so at this point I'm starting to think I'll get to the money. Then the KO punch comes on the turn, a 10. River brings no help, so I'm out. I've been playing poker for 4 years now, and never went this card dead. Two and a half hours of maybe 3 playable hands will not help you cash lol.
Well as I said last time I had won 1.37 in a private forum freeroll. Tonight I played in the $100 HORSE freeroll on Full Tilt. I played for over 6 hours and came in 1st place! If anybody knows how to post pictures on here please let me know how so I can post a picture. During the tournement I rarely fell out of the top 20. over 90 percent of the time I was in the top 10, and never once fell below the chip average. My total BR now is $16.37! This win helps things alot for me, next step is $50!
I finally got above the 0 mark today in a freeroll for cardschat.com on Full Tilt. I placed 25 and won 1.37. Not alot, but a start to my goal. I plan to start playing the 10 cent rebuys with the 1k guarentee. I do not plan on rebuying or adding on. Made the first step on the long journey!
I was in a tourney on PokerStars today and had a fairly funny hand occur at my table. I was in 2nd position after the BB and was dealt AA. Blinds are 15/30. I raise to 120. The person right after me raises to 360. Everybody folds around the table until the SB who pushes all in. I raise my stack all in and the person after me calls. We flip the cards, SB has AA also and the person after me has QQ. I have the A of diamonds. Flop comes Q 3 7 all diamonds. I start to fear for the worst. Turn comes 9 of spades. I get ready for my stack to be crippled. River comes 5 of diamonds. I put out both players on one of the craziest hands I've seen!
The other day I saw where Chris Ferguson made 10,000 from 0 on FT. This idea interested me, so I'm gonna try something similar. I'm gonna try to turn 0 dollars into 1,000 dollars, hopefully by the end of the year, but it probably wont be tht soon lol. I'm not putting a real time frame on this, just as soon as it can be done! I'm trying to do this on either FT or Absolute, whichever one I can cash a freeroll first. I've been so close to cashing in one 5 times in the past week since I got the idea. The bad beats just catch up to me, and I'll get sucked out on and eliminated before the money. Finished 40th on FT last night, and 78 on absolute on monday. 3 other finishes in the top 150. Well I'm off for now, peace out
