Great hand. Two thoughts on this hand from both of your sides:
You: when he raised you I think you would be better to either just call or to push. I don’t like the raise because it gives away your hand to some extent. With AA your goal is to get heads-up and that’s what would happen for sure with a call. Now on the flop you can probably get all-in if an A doesn’t hit. I also like a push after his reraise – actually I think this is the way to go. There is a great chance that he has AK, KK or QQ. All of these hands are likely to call a push since it doesn’t look like AA, it looks more like AK, JJ, TT, etc. Also, if he doesn’t have AK and an A flops you are likely to not get much more action against most players.
Him: His re-raise is fine, but then when you reraised I think he needs to consider folding. I wouldn’t but it’s possible. If I had AK or QQ I just might fold, with KK I wouldn’t. On the flop though when you bet $250… hmmm, warning signs should be setting in. It’s a tough one for him. Now if you didn’t 4 bet preflop he wouldn’t have any decision at all. See why the 4 bet could kill your action? Since your $250 bet could easily mean QQ or AK on that flop I guess his push is fine and it’s what I would do – actually I would call and hope that you would check it down.

I agree with the previous comment. It was a good thing he was holding kk because he was not folding. If a good player had QQ or JJ the reraise most likely would have cooled the action.Good hand man
