What's up guys? I decided to take a little break from blogging because I was running really bad and was pretty upset. I didn't feel like I would put a good effort into writing a decent blog so I decided I would just not write at all. I regret making that decision for a number of reasons, but the main regret is that every time I was down this blog helped lift me back up. Whether it was just getting some things off my chest by writing or the inspiring comments I got from my readers, I always felt better after writing a blog entry. Anyway, we got some catching up to do.

SirWatts:  I just won $42,500...

I know that's an enormous amount of money.  To be able to win that much in a day I should be ecstatic.  Lots of people probably don't make that in a year and just think I'm a jerk for not appreciating how lucky I am.  I guess you'd have to be a poker player, in particular a tournament player, to really understand.  That's just the game.  I just finished 6th in the FTOPS Event #12, a $300 rebuy tournament with 6-handed tables and over 1300 players, for $42.5K.  I played for 9 hours, generally getting very lucky, overcoming the few times I got unlucky, and for the most part playing some pretty damn good poker, especially towards the end.  But then I ran into an unfortunate spot at the final table where I got put to a tough decision...

IP Biloxi Classic - Apr 2-13, 2008
The IP Biloxi hosts its annual IP Biloxi Classic this April.  Katrina put a rough beat on the IP in 2005, but they've since renovated the entire property and added a stunning 16-table room.
