So I woke up today played a few online steps and a few mtts said if I bust everything quick I'll play the 1500 live mtt here so I busted everything said fuck it let's go donk off money live. So I end up playing in it get a decent table draw recognize fellow online mtter ely cash and omaha guru sirens. I know sirens can and will gamble early and often he's made that clear. I get my awful 3500 starting stack at 25/50 blinds to 5k without anything all that interesting raising a bunch and hitting boards. Then I raise AQo utg+1 9 handed table to 125 2 people call who have called a bunch before sirens in CO makes it 600 with 2k behind often I snapfold this but I was quite sure he was squeezing wide and folding a bunch to 4 bet and AQ has equity and less likely QQ AK AA etc. So he tanks and folds. A few hands later he opens ep guy calls Im otb find JJ squeeze he shoves his 2k I call quickly and bam upto 9k in first 30min. I coast for a bit play a fun hand vs a guy who limp/calls in LP to me to his left when I raise his 100 limp to 425 with Q4o he calls KxQd5d flop check through turn 9d I have no d he c/calls my 600 bet. River is a 3o he checks I confidently through a vbet of 1250 out there and he tanks and calls and mucks when I show. Such sick value imo.

Anyways lose a lot of chips next few hands get down to 8k. Have a really tight BB and bad players to my left raise K8cc in the HJ to 375 at 75/150 sb calls nit folds bb. HU to flop Ac10x3x he c/calls my 400 turn 3c he check/calls my 1200. River 6c he checks I bet 3k he snapshoves for 4500 more I call obv and he has AsQc I dunno if he thought he had the fd or what.
So Im at like 18k now massive cl still no antees. I bleed down to 7k before anything decent happens to me at a new tougher table get a stack when Im at about 14k tight lady opens utg+1 to 700 pretty tight range I call otb with 99 flops Q73r she bets 800 weird bet I float cuz she plays faceup on turn. She leads 2500 now Im quite sure she thinks she has the nuts I then notice its the 9d putting a fd out there with the Q but she never has the fd if she had AKdd she check/calls turn. Anyways turns a low blank she bets 2500 again with 6kish behind I slightly cover shove she tanks for 25sec and calls with AQ lol.

Im at 25k now coast for a long time till I get KK when a old guy open shoves 44 11.5k utg at 400/800 Im in MP. Most interesting hand/me getting owned was 3 tables left have some history with joe tehan I think he respected my play up until this hand anyways he opens in EP to 3200 at 600/1200/200 could be a wide range he was looser earlier. I have 78dd in sb and 80k stack to his 75k and rays in BB so I call flops Kh9h6x I check planning on c/calling then leading turn but he checks behind and makes a comment so I think he had a piece or something turns Ad. I check he bets 4k I decide to try to semibluff the turn and raise him to 11k. He tanks for 2 minutes before 3betting me to 22k total. We have 50k behind if I called which would be about a potsized shove so I think I can call and shove when I get there regardless of heart and always get paid by his big hand. Unfortunatly I missed and the river was Kx and he checked behind and showed Ah10x him having the Ah is what made him able to make this play and for value/pot control. Anyways I felt owned 3bet/folded once later and raised and won a bunch of blinds to end the day with 64,400 which is about avg.

Well sorry I've been really active lately playing and usually playing till I fall asleep sometimes while still in a few tourneys oops. I haven't traveled since aussie until taking a flight out last minute decision to the LAPC. Flew out of albany at 6am and was able to get to la around noon. I hung out for a bit met up with kyle fellow tworager not sure how else to describe him. Pretty much he's the way I'll be in 20 years if successful.
Anyways we grab some lunch before the 1k that stars at 3:30. I have a really good table draw but structure sucks 3k starting stacks 25/50 blinds hour levels. Anyways chip up a bit my usual ways getting there vs people or getting them to fold. I get some chips to like 8k we go on dinner break come back first hand guy opens to 700 sb makes it 2250 I shove for 8k with AA he has aces Im saddened. I misread the board and stack sizes and get it in with A3hh on a Ks6s3x board vs 810s I laugh table thinks Im nuts their prob right. I grind a long make some hands to get paid from people with tp. I have like avg stack for itm with 70 left but decide to stop winning pots. Bleed down to a short stack on bubble play some really weird hands that I only played because of live poker. I squeak into the money with a 15k blinds are 600/1200 utg shoves for 2900 sb calls I reshove 89o trying to iso sb tanks and calls with K9 I was expecting A9 to fold etc shows how off I was.

I chat with the guy for a few minutes find out he's a 2+2er and recognized me ahead of time I really hate that sometimes it gives opp so much of an edge. Can be realted well to the multiaccounting thing. It wasn't like I would ever guess from his appearance anyway.

So I am looking primed to get 27th as utg guy shows QJs vs my 89o and sbs K9o flop is AQ7 so Im so far behind nad like 90% to get 27th turn is an 8 I am ahead for side pot river 9 scooop. I get it allin a bunch next few orbits suckout a few times get sucked out on a few others. End up getting 22nd. During this whole tourney I was running back and forth from my table and the ft of the 2500 fellow big bossman of Wafflecrush vivek was crushing the ft and ended up winning for over 100k his first 6fig score.

I played online next day ended up winning the 10r 55k again I really love that tourney a bunch and the structure fits my strenghts very well and helps me exploit the weaknesses of the players at my table. I'll try to get that HH on PXF.

For now I am going to play the 2500 here and hopefully have another ft for wafflecrush coming up here at lapc got the whole group of horses out here now so time for some fun and some more run good.

Sorry for not putting something up over the past 2 weeks I was busy losing money in funny ways for all the live events. I had a nice 0fer for this series even though I got a stack in a few different tourneys. I was really happy with my play on all days and I really just got totally setup in hands I don't want to get away from being way ahead as they should be but never winning those crucial late pots. The structures were pretty good the staff was really friendly the dealers weren't bad some were really good though. Overall I would prob pick crown as my home casino if I was forced to pick one and stay there just for the fact the locals play sooo bad and predictable. I was never uncomfortable at any table and always got an image I could work with.

I think I got above a double stack in all but 1 tourney which is quite a good thing for me because I used to bust a lot early and I made a conscious effort to be a bit more patient live its soo hard when Im used to 15table grinding. I was able to adjust to the timezone well as always being a part time polar bear helps a lot when it comes to that side of traveling the world playing poker. I didn't do that many touristy things after the first week just got in a lazy rut and there were some great cashgames online that I've been grinding. I wasn't able to play online tourney session on most days got maybe 4 days in and all were half days for me since I had to start with the later things since the time was soo early for afternoon tourneys back home.

Again WC came redic close to a huge score having 2 horses with 30 left and both were gone within 5 minutes of each other. I know no one would believe me but I really hate seeing horses lose more for themselves then for me, because me personally am happy just when they put a solid showing and I know it was a good investment and it showed a small profit anyway but then the horse seems to feel like they let us down when they did more then enough trying to make us money etc. Also one of them ended up being mugged after the fact with 30k on him. It is sick story and locals say how rare it is but he just got noticed by the wrong guy with a sick and twisted mentality. I hope the guy gets caught but I really doubt anything will ever come of it which sucks for him because it was a fun trip for everyone aussie is a great area to visit has something for everyone.

I would probably live here in melbourne if it wasn't for the awful timezone for a high volume tourney player. The weather here was better then the bahamas for me last year at this same time. I really liked how friendly the locals were in aussie compared to europe places. The just are more friendly and its a very unique society where tipping is seen as an insult to most people. I also had a really fun group of mtters who I hung out with always a good time with these guys kickball game was hilarious my team lost to lukes team again even though on paper we had the best team drafted then leo shows up and again fucks over my team by hitting some bombs to propel the other team to victory.

Also, I did a bunch of interviews for diff poker medias while there and I am really feeling comfortable in front of the camera and look forward to all of them so far. I am probably just heading home for a short time and heading to borgata the next day to play the 5k and 10k first trip to AC kind of excited but still dreading the 36+hours I have coming of flights and airports on a good nights sleep so that means going asleep on my flights is going to be really hard this time so it's prob going to suck a lot more.

I enjoy making videos so far and I am quite excited I made a video playing 25/50 6max with hellmuth with some commentary and I think ansky sicko cash game player for those who don't read is going to do commentary as well for the session on mistakes etc so basically some free coaching from someone way better then me at cash so I am looking forward to the leaks he notices in a short session where I ran pretty badly.

Also I think a good 83% of the things on the room service menu here had a fried egg as some part of it. It's amazing how many meals they find a way to include a fried egg. I think there must be something with how many eggs are consumed by those here. Unfortunately I wasn't able to head to an Australian open game the few times people had tickets I was busy with live tourneys or grinding some online cash. Sucks I was looking forward to that. I didn't go out much latenight as I had to get up for a tourney most days but the few times we went out to eat and such the food was redic good. I really like the variety in melbourne it's def a melting pot city but takes more of the good traits from the cultures. Also, the taxis were actually helpful and not 1 guy tried to rip me off or deny me service etc. So +2 shaun deeb stars for that fact.

I think this may become my favorite yearly destination the 3 weeks here are like the perfect amount of time. Vegas for 2 months for wsop is a bit too long while most trips that are week long tourney series are a little too short usually too much poker not enough mischievousness.

I don't have any really good degen stories either from this trip just lost a few hundred in a few arcade propbets vs people better then me at the games we were playing. Nothing really highstakes no huge CC roulette bill. Also for the first time traveling I kind of felt like I was actually at a place instead of visiting which may have been a cause in why I didn't go out everyday like I have some other places.

Also I recommend anyone going to aussie be sure to try to kangaroo steak it was def in my top 3 meals this trip tied with nobu and this awesome peeking dunk place.

Well I was finishing up a session at like 3am when I busted in the midnight tourneys I wasn't sure when my flight out of Albany was but I knew my LA flight was at 11:30 west coast so I assumed my albany flight was afternoonish. Anyways I find out my flights at 7am I'm quite pissed since my layovers are 3 hours in chicago and 8 hours in LA. So anyways I start rushing around to get ready finish up packing get done around 5 and then check UB and see a great thing phil hellmuth sitting at a 10/25 hu table. I immediately sit as he's pretty awful at cash games and donated a lot to me and others at 25/50 6max the other day. Anyways I stack him for 1k he reloads 500 wins a flop for like 2k pot and then runs like god. I played some hands realllly badly but still had a large edge vs him. We were like 6500 deep and I got stacked with 99 vs A8 on an A83r89 board no fds ever. He did a line he has taken with lots of marginal hands and when I c/shoved river he doesn't fold any ace because he sucksss so bad. Anyways I lost like 5 buyins and he quit me at 6. I was intending to skip my flight and have him pay for my later flights with less layovers. So I get to airport at like 6:20 theres redic long lines I get worried Im going to miss my flight as I get there a guy says anyone on the 7am flight I say me he tosses my bag and I rush to get through security. I make my flight takes a while till we take off though was like 45min before boarding and leaving.

I get to chicago go to the gate for my flight and sit down play some 2/4 hu vs broberts who asked me to play him a few tables for practice for both of us. I tilted bad because I get airport tilt easily and shouldn't play there. ALso at 2/4 I can't take it serious and did a lot of hero moves. Anyways it gets like to almost noon central time I am wondering why it's not showing up on the gate my flight #. I go back to the TV screens recheck and see it still says 12:20 gate B12 or whatever. I get my boarding pass out and see it says 11:40 boarding time. I check the flight #s and they are different. I am really confused as thats the only LA flight on the screen. I stand there for a few minutes studying it and notice I was reading the line of videos for arrivals. Sigh I look for my flight and see its taken off so that means it prob left already. I get a hold of my aunt who also serves as a great travel agent for me. She says to goto the other gates of the later flights and try to get on with my large layover in LA I can make it in time. I try to get to the gate for the 2pm flight it's in a diff terminal I take a guess on going left or right and I go right endcs up being the wrong way. I am walking back to where I was and notice I pass the gate for the 3pm LA. I go talk to the attendant and she is like yah looks fine to get you on 1 of these flights. Then she toys with the computer for 5 minutes then goes uh oh looks like both flights are full. She then says well why not goto gate B20 I was at B18 and board your first flight I go wtf. She says it says they haven't left yet. Note its close to 12:25 now and it was removed from the screens 30min ago. Anyways we have another long wait after departing and I get to LAX

Get to lax have to get my bags and recheck them Ive had no battery that would charge or powercord for the past 2 weeks since prague. I had bought my sisters from her so I would have one. But good ole me in a rush left the powercord at the house. So I find a store get something that works and I end up sitting in the terminal for a while waiting for thayer and whoever else may be on my flight. The 14 hour flight was much easier then Ie expected arrive at sydney myself and thayer run into sirwatts whose on the same flight now with us to melbourne. That was a quick and easy flight, we get our luggage and get to our hotel which is really nice the towers are awesome here and I have gobbo to thank since he's such a big deal here get gets the hookup for everything.

First night here Randall, Thayer, gobbo, mlagoo, and myself went to bonds appt to hangout play video games and some crazy cardgames. A bunch of other 2+2ers show up it was a fun night. We head out a pretty late and all get up for the 1k. I had a really good table draw the 2nd best player at table was on my right and nitty I abused him early with some light 3bets and showing he just then went into a shell once I got my 4k starting stack upto 11k and he had 10k to my right early. The other half way decent player at the table had like reporters bugging him every 5minutes for interviews and like a photographer over him at all times. We get friendly hes a cool guy from LA says he plays ftp didn't recognize his name and he didn't recognize mine. I have been recongized more for being tedsfishfry then shaundeeb it's weird. That I am like hey Im shaundeeb when meeting people they have no clue. Then I say tedsfishfry and their like I know you etc. Anyways one guy at my table is telling me how the LA guy is some well known actor. I'm really bad with faces and names so whatever end up finding he's micheal barton. He def impressed me for being a semi famous actor type who def had some concepts of poker down but didn't know how to switch from a tag gear. But in this style tourney and field I expect him to go deep in something. The field was amazingly soft i never got put in a tough spot from anyone and never felt as if I couldn't do whatever I wanted when I wanted to do it. Anyways I card rack for a bit to get my chips guy opens 6x utg with 80bbs I have KK in the bb I make it 17x he calls flops 984 r I bet 24x he raises to 50x I shove he tanks and calls with 10s. Bust a shortstack with 10s vs his 9s flop a set of 3s vs aces on a 832 flop. Really getting chips handed to me.

I have my 4k starting stack up to like 20k and I watch this hand go down. New guy limps in MP1 button makes it 3x behind for 1200 folded to mike who has 3500 and he shoves first limper calls with 10k more behind the 3xer folds and mike has KK other guyt has A2s one awful call. He sucks out obv and has like 19k now. I make a note Im going to own him since hes 2 to my right. The very next hand he limps again I find JJ and raise to 1525 at 200/400 folded back to him he calls flops AK7r he checks I check behind turn Jx he bets 2k I make it 5525 he calls rivers a 4x he checks I bet like 8475 he c/r allin for like 1k more I snap he shows A4o as I instatable my set get upto 40k now when avg is about 13k. Our table breaks soon after and I move to a new table where I get 0 hands. I played 1 semibig pot at 300/600 gut open shoves for 5200 or something in HJ I notice he didn't look he blew a stack doing a realllly bad squeeze vs a tight asain and has shown how tired he is and wants to go. I have 55 and call. He tables 59o and rivers a 9. We go on dinner break I have like 35k going into 400/800. I get a few spots to raise any2 otb because sb is redic tight and bb calls a lot and will c/fold postflop but the 2 times I do that first time BB shoves for 30 bbs and shows 88 and next time I do it sb shoves for 35x effective bb tanks and says he folded 10s sb is pissed cuz he had a bigger pair then 10s. Anyways I then raise J10o in MP and guy shoves for 8bbs I call and lose to AQ on the k9x7x board dunno how I bricked.

I fold for like 2-3 orbits getting 0 hands then folded to sb firt hand they went upto 600/1200 button same guy from 95o folds to him with 8k he shoves I am pretty sure its any2 for him find JJ get happy try to induce the BB to shove over and I flat for half my stack really obv for everyone good but the BB wasn't. Anyways button ends up having kings I am running so bad still haven't won 1 pot since dinner break. Folded to me next hand otb I have Q4o and shove bb calls with A3o Q103KA board and he yells about how theres justice etc in poker. Whatever got like 75th 50 paid played really well got redic unlucky late. I felt like randall playing nitty all day and going 10 hours of live poker with nothing to show. But the players were awful and the weather is great here. Structures amazing too. Dealers are really hit or miss some really good some awful not many ok.

Alright now Sunday couldn't have started off worse then I had planned, I was reg for the Sunday brawl on ftp and hoped to be up for the warmup. I just got a new blackberry so I can get use it internationally so anyways at like 7am I am toying with it's alarm making sure I get up in about 5 hours. Set it for 12:20AM then pass out. I wakeup not from my alarm get a bit worried think maybe I just got up before it so I check to see what time it is and see it's already 3:15 I am angry I missed a bunch of good tourneys and whatever I wait for the dead time on sunday and get in a few things. I had a great table draw in the mil get upto 50k pretty easily early then 75k then I play a really goofy hand. A p5er who I met in prague raises in EP which over the last 3 orbits hes played close to 45/35 going from a shortstack to now a 70k stack himself he raises and I have A4s in the BB and 3bet his 2.4x whatever raise to 7x he 4bets me to like 1/3rd of his stack I know if I shove pf he's commited I get the feeling he just is like shauns been watching me raise and win everyhand showing down some super marginal hands so he 3bet me wide and has to fold like everything to my 4bet. If he has AA KK QQ Ak whatever. so I call and decide to go stop go and shove almost anyflop i get what looks like a good one for me 997 with a fd and I put him in for 50k he types in chat about how gay etc I get happy thinking hes folding a better ace or something until he calls with QQ. I got there on the river. Anyways I played really aggro since then and actually didn't even cash no big deal happens a lot.

During this time and my reg other tourneys I decide to play a little 25/50 on UB since I have so few tables. Some guy sits with like 3500 plays pretty bad I get him down to 1500 and then he goes on a sick run to like 12k we battle a lot end up getting about 11k deep. I raise Q3s otb he calls Q96r flop he checks I pot he calls turn Q he checks I pot he calls. River 10x he checks I pot he then shoves. I get really confused he had been calling down a lot I've been spewing a lot and his few river c/r have all been minraises and 2 of them I called and was shown the nuts when he shoved here I was pretty sure I was ahead called but lost to his KJo. I quit right after that quite angry I was now stuck like 20k. I was now tilted pretty bad had a few tourneys left at like 7pm I decided to quite reg for anything new as I would be out of the few I had left soon prob cuz I wasn't playing well. So anyways I start building a stack in the ftp 750k I got really lucky AKs>Ako I went running clubs and another early suckout I couldn't remember. I wasn't playing well but whatever I was going to bubble this tourney and go smoke.

I couldn't bust no matter how hard I tried for the next few hours stack fluctuated a lot had some tough players at my tables. It keep grinding down and I keep my 20-30bb stack then I went on a sick hour where I won like 1 pot i was left with 30k at 2500/5k I shove a hand in CO get the blinds and antees which is huge next hand I shove 7s for 43k bb has AK I fold. I raise/fold next hand and get down to 85k guy opens with 70k stack I find kk and shove he has QQ I hold 150k. Had another huge hand which I forget and a few resteals etc and soon I have 600k and a CL with 4 tables left. I raise AK guy 3bets I jam for aout 30bbs he calls with 10s wins the race for 650k chips I would have had 1mil with 2nd having 450k, but whatever I grind my stack until 2 tables left go card dead again get down to 10bbs. Shoved K10o in HJ with 11.5bbs button with 10bbs has JJ I turn a K get upto 1mil. Now for the gayest hand in the history of tourney poker. utg whose been active opens for like 80k at some weird ftp blind level next guy shoves 210k I have AA otb and 1.1mil effective with first guy. As I am deciding what to raise I click like 350k as I am giving some reasoning for the video I was making. Then I get the whitebox of death. I lose connection on ftp for a few moments by the time I get back my aces were folded and utg had QQ and utg+1 had AJs I would have had 2.5mil chips with 2nd having under 1.5mil with 14 left. That same QQ guy a few hands later has AKo>a fellow wafflercrushers AA which was redic gross. Adam sends me a weeks worth of gross beats for me each sunday it seems in everything huge. This was just one of those days. I coast to ft with same mil chip stack fold for a bit guy shoves 900k in HJ I have KK otb and slightly cover reship and beat his QQ. steal some blinds a few resteals. have like 1.5mil after raising folding folded to sb he shoves about the same amount I have AKo and call and beat his 105o. THat guy busts a little while later. I am cl for abit till rizen gets knocked out vs a guy who flopped top 2 when rizen had an OESD. I get 3 handed with 2 players I know I am better than with a good cl.

I start to really lag it up 3 handed get to like 5.5 6mil chips with about 10mil in play. Sb opens with 30bb bb shoves for 1.7mil which is 15bbs I reshove AQo. Guy has JJ and it holds or else I get hu with 7 to 1 CL or something redic. Anyways a few hand goes by same guy as JJ opens in sb to 2.5x I call in bb wiht 910o flopds A87 with 2 d he bets I raise pretty big and then the whole rail goes wild about saying I have 910 or diamonds or some other draw. It's really redic how they can talk about ranges and such while someones making a decision not sure if it effected the kids dec but after he timed down his whole timebank he stuck it in with QQ no d and it holds for a 6mil pot. I am down to 1.4mil and shove my 14bbs otb with A4s and run into that same guys Ajo 257 flop with 1 of my suit turn 6 river blank and Im out 3rd for like 52500 I was really pissed off at the time I was 2-3 flips away from a huge CL HU . I will look back and be happy I got 3rd but I really just got fucked. The AA timeout hand was awful so much equity from 15% of the chips in play I would of had more. I prob could of raped the ft bubble too with that stack whatever.

Anyways there were also a lot of people crashing at the house due to the xmas party at my dads place so I had to ward off them as I got a 100 questions at first about what I am doing and 4 people over my shoulder watching. Eventually I cleared em out after 20min but the loud drunk talk was still something I would have preferred not to have to deal with.

So I went from my worst sunday ever down like 20-25k on buyins and cashgames to up nearly 30k I was quite happy but sooo close to my first 6figure score. At least I win a propbet with thayer now for yearly rankings on p5.
